Das ARZ Traumschiff.

Following the “Night of the stARZ” summer party, the ARZ Haan group of companies again commissioned iventos with the concept, organisation and delivery of its staff celebration. The goals remained the same: bring the entire company together, foster networking across departments and locations, and strengthen the sense of togetherness. What was to change was the setting – a place nobody would expect, and a theme strong enough to carry the evening from the first minute.

The choice fell on the Rhine. Under the motto “Das ARZ Traumschiff” – the ARZ dream ship – the Ocean Diva Futura became a floating venue for one evening. The programme spread across several levels: a sun deck beneath white sails with lounge furniture and an open view across the water, an indoor area below with stage, dance floor and panoramic windows, plus bar and catering areas on both decks.

The theme carried the entire staging. A purpose-designed logo ran across flags, LED walls and print materials, and captain’s caps became the badge of the evening. The programme led from the management’s welcome addresses through live band The Classy Club to the DJ who took over the night. At sunset, the view opened out across the Rhine.

The unusual setting took the stiffness out of the evening from the start: those who board together, stay together. Departments that otherwise only meet by email stood at the same railing, and the theme gave the celebration a shared language – from the logo on the flag to the captain’s cap. For ARZ Haan it confirmed what “Night of the stARZ” had already shown: a staff party can be more than a date in the calendar.
