Neue Mitte Fest.

The Neue Mitte Fest is a family and play festival held annually since 2002 at Westfield Centro Oberhausen. The goal of the event is to establish the Neue Mitte area as an independent district in Oberhausen and to convey the character of a neighbourhood festival. iventos was commissioned to plan and organise the event, with the aim of developing a varied full programme for the whole family. It was particularly important to create an entertaining experience for the children and to integrate the sponsors optimally.

Since 2023, brands such as Haribo and Nintendo have contributed significantly to the success of the festival. iventos conceived a colourful programme that is especially family-friendly thanks to walking acts, stilt walkers, mobile artists and an extensive play street. Local groups such as dance schools, sports clubs and shanty choirs were specifically involved in order to give the festival an authentic neighbourhood atmosphere. In addition, proven culinary highlights and locally rooted programme elements were created to make the event attractive for all age groups.

Thanks to iventos' professional organisation, the Neue Mitte Fest has developed into a popular family event that delights not only Westfield Centro but also the city of Oberhausen and the surrounding area. Tens of thousands of visitors take part every year, and the event receives extensive coverage in print media, radio, TV and online.
