Naming & Corporate Design.
A comprehensive relaunch was due for the time-honoured music festival on the North Sea island of Juist.
A comprehensive relaunch was due for the time-honoured music festival on the North Sea island of Juist. The goal was to develop a modern and coherent corporate design that appeals equally to islanders and tourists – families included.
Alongside the visual realignment, the brief encompassed the naming of the newly created sales-promoting initiative “Ju(i)stWin”, the design of all print and digital media, and the realisation of the new website.
From the first idea to the final roll-out, all design processes were in our hands. The new festival name “Juistival” was determined in a public vote together with the target audience – a deliberately chosen, participatory approach.
Building on this, we developed the complete visual identity, including the logo for Juistival and the campaign logo “Ju(i)stWin”.
The overall package included a comprehensive design manual as well as the design of numerous applications – from posters, the digital programme booklet, food vouchers, drinks menus, signage and hang tags through to merchandise items such as the popular lanyard. Digital media and moving-image elements were also produced in-house. The new website rounded off the rebranding – modern, responsive, user-friendly.
