
MC Chronicle.
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, MC-Bauchemie commissioned iventos to design an extensive company chronicle that would follow on from an earlier publication from 2005.
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, MC-Bauchemie commissioned iventos to design an extensive company chronicle that would follow on from an earlier publication from 2005. The new volume was to cover the years 2005 to 2021, illuminate significant events in the company's history and at the same time reflect historical events of the respective era. The goal was to present the company's development and the important milestones in a high-quality visual and editorial format.
Based on MC-Bauchemie's editorial concept, iventos developed a graphic concept for the chronicle, which, in addition to a bound book, also includes a slipcase. Each year was summarised in an illustrated chapter that combines both company events and important historical occurrences. In addition, special topics on key achievements of the company and portraits of leading figures were integrated. iventos created a flexible design grid that fitted perfectly into the corporate design of MC-Bauchemie.
Through the close collaboration between the marketing department and the iventos designers, an impressive work of over 330 pages was created that documents the success story of MC-Bauchemie in a unique way. The chronicle sets new standards for company publications of this kind and is printed in an edition of around 1,000 copies. iventos was responsible for the entire process, from concept and copywriting through to image research, layout and print preparation.
