Viking Festival.

iventos was commissioned to conceive, organise and deliver the Frisian & Viking Festival in Norddeich on the East Frisian North Sea coast. The event, which has taken place annually in summer since 2007, has established itself as a highlight in the event calendar and aims to create an authentic medieval experience for tourists and locals alike. iventos takes on full responsibility as the official organiser.

The four-day Viking Festival brings together over 100 performers in historical costumes who authentically portray the life of the Vikings in the early Middle Ages. Visitors can immerse themselves in the customs, craftsmanship and rituals of this era and stroll through a medieval craft market. iventos organises the assembly of the performers, encampment groups and craftspeople as well as the complete setup organisation, including the infrastructure for guests and performers. A varied supporting programme rounds off the experience.

Since 2007, the Viking Festival has established itself as a prestigious event for the tourism destination of Norden-Norddeich and attracts around 8,000 visitors every year. The event invites tourists from across Germany and neighbouring countries to experience the 9th century up close. iventos ensures a seamless execution and has successfully established the event as a fixed part of the local event calendar.
