iventos was commissioned to develop and deliver a highlight event for the event calendar of Norden-Norddeich on the East Frisian North Sea coast. The International Kite Festival, which takes place over Ascension Day, attracts both locals and tourists every year. As the official organiser, iventos is responsible for the complete concept, organisation and execution of the four-day event.

At the International Kite Festival, over 100 professional kite sportspeople present their flying skills on the green beach, while attractions on the event grounds entertain visitors of all ages in parallel. iventos conceived a varied supporting programme with face painting, carousel rides and crafting activities for the youngest guests. A highlight is the night flying show on Saturday evening, accompanied by live music and a party with a DJ on Thursday. Spectacular light effects and illuminated kites make the event unforgettable.

Since 2007, the International Kite Festival has established itself as a fixed event in the event calendar of Norden-Norddeich and attracts around 3,000 visitors every year. The event, which offers exciting experiences to tourists and locals alike, strengthens the region's position as an attractive tourism destination. iventos handles the complete organisation, from assembling the exhibitors and artists through infrastructure planning to delivering the varied programme.
