Following the refurbishment of the Köln Arcaden in 2017, iventos was commissioned with the complete concept, organisation and execution of a fashion event as a re-opening.

Following the refurbishment of the Köln Arcaden in 2017, iventos was commissioned with the complete concept, organisation and execution of a fashion event as a re-opening. The goal was to impressively showcase the modernisation of the centre while highlighting the shopping mall's fashion expertise. The challenge was to design an event that both presents the new features and delights a broad audience.

Under the theme “Neuer-Chic”, iventos stylishly staged the refurbishments of the Köln Arcaden. A particular highlight was the 14-metre-high “Flying Catwalk”, on which models presented the latest fashion trends. The event was accompanied by interactive side events and intensive storytelling via social media, supported by influencers such as Ana Johnson and Thomas Rath. In this way, a broad target audience was reached, engaged both on site and digitally.

iventos was responsible for the complete planning and execution, from creating the event theme through to developing the supporting programme for various target groups, as well as managing the permit process in the run-up to the event. Thanks to the professional staging and social media support, the re-opening was a complete success that lastingly positioned the centre's fashion expertise. The event attracted a high level of media attention and strengthened the connection between the centre and its customers.
