AIDS Gala 2024.

Our brief for the AIDS Gala 2024 at the Musical Dome Köln was to take on the event project management in close cooperation with Aidshilfe Köln. The goal was to create a perfectly staged event that runs seamlessly both artistically and organisationally. Particularly challenging was the coordination between the complex stage technology, the demanding show design and the numerous partners.

Acting as the central interface between the in-house technical team of the Musical Dome Köln and the team of Aidshilfe Köln, we focused on coordinating all partners involved, especially in the areas of stage, lighting and sound. The live staging of the event encompassed the entire stage design as well as the lighting and sound design. Supporting and integrating prominent artists such as Giovanni Zarrella and Marianne Rosenberg was also an essential part of our work. Through targeted team building, we were able to forge all those involved – from artists and organisers through to suppliers – into a powerful project group. The weekly exchange with the organiser ensured that the complex requirements and technical details were continuously coordinated.

The AIDS Gala 2024 became an overwhelming success. Not only was it completely sold out, but it also generated over 100,000 euros in favour of Aidshilfe Köln. The combination of impressive stage shows, emotional appeal and technical perfection created an evening that delighted the audience and found great resonance in the media. Our commitment and expertise were recognised by all sides: “Without the support of Iventos, it would have been impossible for us to organise an event of this size,” emphasised Erik Sauer, managing director of the Lebenshaus Foundation.
