Anniversary Chronicle.

For the 100th company anniversary of PVS Limburg-Lahn, we were commissioned to design a chronicle covering the years 1924 to 2024 and presenting defining events in the company's history as well as historical milestones of the respective era. The goal was to develop a modern, visually appealing concept that reflects the character of the company while also drawing on the existing corporate design. The challenge was to create a harmonious balance between text, imagery and open space in order to present the content in a contemporary and visually convincing way.

In close coordination with the two managing directors of PVS Limburg-Lahn, extensive material was gathered from various sources to develop a clear structure for the chronicle. This material formed the basis for the visual concept and allowed us to create a design that skilfully integrates both the company's history and important historical events.

To give the chronicle a special character, we relied on a selection of exclusive papers and finishing techniques. The cover was designed with an elegant mother-of-pearl paper and a high-quality embossing to create a lasting impression. The inner section of the chronicle consists of 170 g offset paper, which is pleasant to leaf through and shows off the print quality to best effect. Transparent pages were used as a complement to set visual accents and enrich the reading experience.

The technical implementation encompassed various printing and finishing processes, including digital printing, offset printing, embossing and binding. Our particular challenge lay in combining the different printing methods and materials and ensuring a consistent, high-quality feel and look. The layout of the cover and double-page spreads was carefully prepared and coordinated with the client in order to create a design that is convincing both aesthetically and in terms of content.

Thanks to the seamless collaboration of everyone involved in the project, an exceptional chronicle was created that impresses through its high-quality choice of materials and its modern, minimalist design. The combination of elegant paper types, transparent accents and refined embossing gives the chronicle a unique look that presents the company's history in a stylish and memorable way.
